Subtle all-over embroidery on organic cotton

VILHELM MOBERG
Swedish author 1898–1973
His best-known works are The Emigrants, a series of books about a group of people who emigrated from the region of Småland in Sweden to Minnesota, USA in the mid 1800s, a fate shared with 1.5 million other Swedes, including many of the author’s relatives.
Moberg spent twelve years doing research before he started to write his epic series.

MINNESOTA – North Mid West

Embroidered creations in red, ecru and indigo blue look beautiful here in the promised land. Our finest dress made of organic cotton is embellished with embroidered designs. The dress is called KRISTINA, the name of the young Swedish woman who emigrated to Minnesota with her family.
