Every now and then ideas arise in unexpected ways. One evening, Gudrun was in front of the TV with her drawing pad on her knee, half-watching the news. Her hand worked with a will of its own as it tends to, and had suddenly filled the paper with stripes – this way and that, criss-crossing. In this collection the same garment has its very own patterning, and each piece of fabric is put to use.
