Day 4

Now comes the day when we will fly a HOT AIR BALLOON. We start early in the morning to be at the launch site when the sun rises at quarter past seven. It's a truly magical balloon ride, filling with hot air and rising to 500 meters. We see people moving far below on the ground. We hear dogs barking in the clear air. It's quite cold. Our pilot Nitesh says he has been a pilot for 15 years. It feels reassuring. During the rainy season, he moves to Africa, where he flies over the Serengeti in Kenya. 

When we land after an hour-long flight, about 500 people have gathered around the landing site. We feel like SUPERSTARS in the midst of the chaos. We get Masala chai and a cookie before heading home in the car that followed us on the ground. What a magical day!!!
