Viscose is an excellent fabric for dresses. It feels silky and comfortable against the skin and has a dreamy flowing quality and fluid drape. Viscose is also easy to maintain. Hang it up to air and give it an occasional wash, and your viscose dress will keep its good looks and shape for years. Viscose dresses are ideal for layering and, as we all know, the layering principle is popular with us. On a hot summer’s day, match your viscose dress with a colourful shawl or a button-through tunic with three-quarter-length sleeves. When autumn brings its misty days, slip a pair of leggings underneath and pull a knitted cardigan over your shoulders. Step into a pair of ankle boots and suddenly your cool season look is complete! Layer up with a long-sleeve or polo-neck top under your viscose dress during the winter months. Add a wool cardigan or a waistcoat and snug patterned tights. And don’t forget a pair of socks, a scarf and maybe a beret on top! Et voilà! You are all ready for winter walks and magical Christmas markets. Perhaps all you need in early spring is a blouse over your dress. How about our smock blouse, a firm favourite over the years, or a wrap blouse with a tie belt?

A solid colour viscose dress makes the perfect base piece, but why not experiment with colours, prints and patterns? Florals, dots, stripes and checks, indigo blue, mole beige, tomato red and feather white – viscose looks fabulous whichever you choose. Be adventurous and try mixing! Team a floral dress with a check shawl or a solid dress with a floral embroidered cardigan and striped leggings. Layering lets you mix and match in any way you like, creating a style that is unique to you. Needless to say, you can team your viscose dress with other fabrics too. Like a linen shirt, a pair of velour trousers... the options are endless!
