MONDAY – now at my favorite hotel, Samode Bagh
In the Western world, we live a life of luxury. We have 'everything,' but not always happiness. We complain and grumble about small things without understanding how fortunate we are. We dress in grays and blacks – why? Here in India, women dress so colorfully, even if they live simply. They wear all their jewelry, just like we used to. Here at Samode Bagh, you can also see a bygone life of luxury that the Maharaja lived with hordes of people serving a single individual. The villagers cultivate their fields and make sure that kings and princes have everything they could wish for on their table.
