I live with my family on one of the first hills on the south side of the Bavarian Forest.
There are some barren fields around our house, as well as a lot of forest, which ultimately extends all the way to Bohemia.
In a nearby forest, I found an old construction trailer that had simply been parked there. Since the owner could not be identified, we moved the car onto our property and, over a year of work, I renovated it inside and out.
My husband made sure the car got new windows and a new door.
I particularly enjoyed decorating the interior of the car and lining it with beautiful, colorful fabrics/home textiles.
My husband and children love sleeping in the car because you can hear the sounds of the night.
For all of us, this project is an example of giving old things a new life cycle.
A wonderful - fulfilling - feeling.
