These patterned creations are bubbling with joy and the PASSION for self-expression, which is commonly seen among young people in Asia. Layers are worn in a wonderful mix of clashing colours and patterns. Aiming for a PLAYFUL look, we worked with simple geometric shapes to create patterns on a large and small scale. We also introduced a palette of solid hues to add a sense of dynamism. The designs may be a nod to Gudrun’s younger days in the 1960s – but they feel as relevant now as they did then. Solid colours and patterns, bright, joyful colours – in layers – the sky’s the limit!
