During the brand’s 50-year-long history, Gudrun has travelled around the world and accumulated a treasure trove of memories. This is a collection of some of her more special colourful travel tips – from both distant countries and her home country of Sweden.


Lodhi Colony art district
– Lodhi Colony in central Delhi
is a stunning open-air art gallery that inspires people from all over the world.

Lodhi Garden
– A large park in central Delhi
where tall trees create green spaces and provide welcome shade.

Qutab Minar
– This huge, towering minaret
was built centuries ago.

The Claridges Hotel
– The hotel offers
a choice of excellent restaurants. The Pickwick is definitely Gudrun’s favourite.

India Gate
– This is the beautifully
landscaped area in the heart of Delhi, with expansive lawns and broad, tree-lined avenues.

Santushti
– Shopping centre in a small park,
where you can buy rather more upmarket, elegant labels like Tulsi (not to be confused with Italian Tulsi).

Hotel Imperial
– This hotel also has
excellent restaurants. Its café is great for both lunches and evening meals.

Lutyens Bungalow
– A small, family-run hotel
with 20 or so rooms set in a garden where they grow their own vegetables and sell colourful pots and plants.

Khan Market
– A shopping district
and retail market with masses of small shops selling clothes, crockery, home textiles and much, much more.

Stockholm
– A trip through Gudrun’s Stockholm

Lisbon
