Scotland’s sweeping landscape offers a soulful backdrop for our photoshoots. Especially for this collection, which weaves together the majesty of the wild, ancient folklore and the artistry of the female hand. We find our heartbeat in an era when life moved with the seasons and the gods were thanked for the earth’s bounty – the Norse harvest feast. Within this collection, weaves and wools take pride of place, while embroideries and tactile knits adorn the pieces like wearable jewels. In a nod to days of old, the colours are taken from nature and the landscape. We have named our garments after vibrant Viking goddesses: Frigg, Idun and Hildur.

A country steeped in historyWe’ve come to Scotland for the photoshoot of this collection. Winding through the Trossachs National Park, the Highlands in miniature, we see sheep and lambs roaming freely, grazing alongside shaggy “hairy coos”. The tranquillity and endless views of rolling hills and glinting lochs leave us spellbound. Our creations will definitely pop against the landscape’s earthy tones.
The goddess Frigg symbolises weaving, love and protection in Norse mythology.
Textured-knit patternsThe rugged stone dwellings of the Highlands tell a centuries-old tale of adaptation to the barren landscape and the lack of timber. Our dusky palette truly glows here.
We find perfect locations for our photoshoot at Duncan Family Farm and a wee cottage in Arrochar, in the heart of the Loch Lomond & the Trossachs National Park.
BlackberriesBright colour accents evoke the jewel-like berries of the forest.
Natural nuancesWe step back in time to the NORDIC lands of old, where, in the spirit of Norse mythology, we give thanks for life and the earth’s abundance. This collection features beautiful garments in NATURE-inspired tones – warm yellow-browns and rich reds balanced with charcoal grey and blue. Bright accents evoke the jewel-like berries of the forest. The BLACKBERRY appears as a recurring motif throughout the collection. The silhouettes are clean and refined, crafted in soft, comforting materials. Intricate details come to life through embroidery, print and textured knitting in luxurious wool.
