French-inspired garden art
One day in late autumn, we went to Ulriksdal Palace in northern Stockholm. The baroque palace gardens with their bosquets, boxwood parterres and harmonious symmetry are evocative of French garden art, and of Versailles in particular. With winter looming around the corner, the gardens made the perfect backdrop for the season’s colourful wool pieces and accessories.
