This trip to India became particularly special and memorable because, for the first time, I went on a hot air balloon ride!!!
A strange and powerful experience, a bit like meditating, almost turned spiritual! Because it moved so slowly, it never felt scary or like you were even high up in the air—a truly remarkable sensation.
Almost silently, we flew over a drowsy landscape with fields, farms, and small villages. Perhaps the cutest thing was when the cows looked up at the hot air balloon as we glided over them.
When we landed, we were warmly, curiously, and colorfully welcomed by the villagers who were eager to take pictures together with hot air balloon passengers. 😊
