Our designer Johanna drew inspiration from the magnificent Alaskan wilderness, from silent snow, deep darkness and shimmering gold. And also from the longing for celebrations, warmth and summer meadows in bloom. All the designs are inspired by tales about the Scandinavian settlers who set off to seek their fortune in Alaska and their dream of finding gold. Their hopes and aspirations can be felt in every thread and weave – this collection is a dream about gold, flowers in the snow and sparkling moments. It is a tribute to the poetry of nature, the quiet strength of community and hand-embroidered keepsakes passed down through generations.

Dreams of Alaska
We venture into the vast expanse of Alaska’s wilderness. Following in the footsteps of our ancestors, who emigrated in search of fortune and happiness. In this untamed landscape, we strike gold – inspiration for our designs and colours from forget-me-nots, rosebay willowherb and the Nootka rose. Tailored pieces, richly adorned with beautiful prints and embroidery and crafted from fabrics such as dobby, warm velour and soft lyocell jersey, appear like echoes from the past. Meet our Christmas star – Glimra dress – embellished with glittering stripes and tiny sequins. Hang our charming hand-embroidered wool bag over your shoulder to complete the party look!
