In Gudrun’s world of patterns there is something to suit every taste and personality! Floral designs span across tiny, delicate bouquets to bold, dramatic floral landscapes in watercolour style. Dotted dresses range from simple dots in soft colours to bright popping dots in explosive colours. If you like stripes, you’ll love our range of narrow and wide striped pieces in earthy tones and statement colours. As well as these much-loved classic designs, you’ll also find retro-inspired check patterns, beautiful wildlife motifs and fruit and vegetables on Gudrun’s clothes.

All the patterns in our collection have been on a long journey. It often begins when Gudrun becomes inspired with an artistic vision. Perhaps she sees a meadow in full bloom in the summer, the sunlight on the water, a brilliant sunset or something as simple as a bowl of fruit or pots of herbs on the windowsill. When transforming the idea into a design and bringing it to life on the garment, our objective is always the same – to create dresses that make a statement and are a joy to wear. Of course our patterned dresses stand out with their unique style. But what do we mean when we say “a joy to wear”? Our designers are meticulous when it comes to choice of fabrics and comfort. They know that on hot summer days, a breezy, organic cotton or cool linen dress is your best friend. When temperatures drop, we have soft wool and smooth fabric blends that will keep you warm without compromising on style. Each fabric is selected with great care to ensure that both comfort and the patterns always take centre stage.

Finding the perfect balance between comfort and style is just as much about the fit. If you like close-fitting dresses, we have floral, wrap dresses with a pattern based on summer seeds, perennial flowers and trees. If loose-fitting and oversized is more your style, you can find A-line jersey dresses, both with and without sleeves, button-through, long-sleeve tunics and lots of woven fabric dresses with pintucks and gathered detailing.
