Christmas wreath

Hands decorating a Christmas wreath on a wire ring with greenery, berries and dried orange.

Follow our step-by-step guide:

You’ll need:
•    Gudrun Sjödén’s white ribbon (or other decorative trim)
•    Jute string
•    A wreath base (wire, spruce, lingonberry sprigs or straw)
•    Dried orange slices
•    Cinnamon sticks
•    Baubles
•    Rosehip stems, juniper or small sprigs of greenery
•    Scissors
•    Thin steel wire or hot glue gun (optional)

1. Cut a piece of ribbon long enough for the wreath to hang from.
2. Choose your decorations, like dried oranges, cinnamon sticks, baubles, small foliage and flowers.
3. Secure them to the wreath base using jute string. You could use thin steel wire or add a drop of glue for extra stability.
4. Make sure that everything is harmoniously arranged and secured in place.
5. Tie the length of ribbon to the top of the wreath.
6. Finished! Hang your wreath where it can be seen and admired (like on your front door).

 A useful tip!
•    Use a variety of materials.
•    Mix orange, cinnamon, greenery and baubles for a fresh and natural feel.
•    Spread the decorative elements around the wreath for a more organic aesthetic.
