Two women wearing layers of clothing and accessories from Gudrun Sjödén’s 2025 winter collection.

Elvira draws inspiration for her designs for the collection from the culture and natural beauty of Canada – depicted in her favourite book, Anne of Green Gables. The descriptions of forests and landscapes remind Elvira of her childhood, growing up in the archipelago. Her designs are imbued with the sense of standing at the edge of a stormy sea, the wind buffeting your face as waves crash into the rocks. The clothes are a celebration of the barren coastal landscape, where lighthouses guide sailors and fishermen to safety and the power of nature is on full display. As well as offering multiple layering options, these creations combine style, warmth, functionality and protection against the icy north wind.
