Blossoms and leaves
Nature has always been a great source of inspiration for Gudrun. In the 1980s, after a break of a few years, when she brought out her watercolour paints and brushes again, she started painting non-stop. Every flower and blade of grass on her beloved island home was preserved on paper. From flowers, she progressed to landscapes, forests, sea, fields and meadows. Nature is her source of peace and harmony – an endless wellspring of creativity and inspiration.
