Join us for a creative afternoon with our amazing ambassador Alison Aune who will be showing us how to make himmeli. Alison is a professor of art education at the University of Minnesota Duluth and has been a Gudrun ambassador for more than fifteen years. She is an award-winning artist whose work is inspired by traditional Nordic folk art and symbolic decorative designs that she integrates into her mixed-media paintings.

Himmeli are traditional Nordic ornaments, originally hung from ceilings as decorations. We will be crafting our own versions while enjoying drinks and snacks. While you’re here you can browse for unique treasures – and enjoy a 10% discount on your purchase.

We invite you to join us on 8 March for a creative workshop in our store! Darcy Lee will be showing us how to transform vintage ties into beautiful silk flower brooches. Darcy is an entrepreneur with a background in handmade jewellery and interior design, and has owned a shop in San Francisco for many years. Today, she runs fun, practical workshops that teach how to give silk ties new life as floral accessories.
