Undyed fabrics possess a unique character that shifts with the fibre itself. Cotton has a natural ecru tone. Gudrun likes to see traces of seed husks in the fabric. Wool echoes the heritage of the flock in a spectrum of shades from dark brown to snowy white. Linen also comes in a range of tones, although it must be dyed to achieve that classic linen look. This chapter of our collection draws inspiration from the fibres’ original colourways. Our signature anorak, crafted from cotton peppered with seed husks, is an overhead layer designed to shield you from the winter chill. The Arktis sweater is also crafted from undyed wool with decorative flecks of colour. Altogether quite beautiful, don’t you think?

Linen, wool and cottonThis collection is rooted in the beauty of ecru and undyed fibres. Linen, wool and cotton, sometimes spun with seed husks still visible in the yarn. We mix in accents of red, reminiscent of traditional folklore, and dress in layers. Soft melange or rib-knit jersey sits gently against the skin, worn beneath a windproof anorak, trousers and a rucksack. The cosy jacquard-knit sweater works perfectly as a mid-layer. The wool socks with beautiful hand embroidery keep your feet wonderfully warm. Complete the outfit with embroidered hand-knitted mittens, a beanie, and a beautifully crafted block-printed scarf.
