Sally’s dream – an embroidered gem

Perhaps you recall our previous grandma-inspired collection, which evoked great nostalgia and loving memories among many customers. Afterwards, our designer Pia painted a watercolour dedicated to her grandmother Sally. Sally was born in Swedish Blekinge, but was largely raised by the rocky coast on the island of Öland. A scenic, but barren and windswept landscape in which Sally dreamed of having a lush garden. A dream that later came true when she moved to the mainland and got herself an allotment garden. This depicts Sally’s dream garden. A watercolour that started with a flower inspired by traditional Blekinge-style embroidery and then evolved into an elaborate pattern. A mixture of Swedish folk art and exotic flowers from the design heritage of India. So, adorn yourself in this all-over embroidered indoor jacket with its “Sally” pattern.
