Grand backdrop
The collection was shot in the setting of the magnificent decorated timber farmhouses of Hälsingland, central Sweden. The exquisite murals were the perfect backdrop for our colourful layered looks. There are around 1,000 such farmhouses, seven of which are inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. In family ownership for centuries, around 40 of the farms are open to the public.
