Our talented designers have experimented with the fabric, drape, fit and details of the dresses to ensure each is infused with vitality and dynamism. It is fascinating to see how different fabrics react to red – how the colour almost assumes a life of its own, depending on the properties of the fabric. On soft cotton it becomes earthy and warm, while on linen it looks confident and relaxed. In the studio, we are constantly experimenting with designs that complement the colour’s intensity. Creating silhouettes that trace the natural contours of the body, and others that float freely with a character of their own. The waist can be emphasised with innovative pleats or allowed free movement with a flowing A-line. Sleeves can be short and playful for summer adventures, or long to keep arms warm on cool autumn days.

We love to see how dresses are personalised in different ways! Some women wear red dresses with a blazer and chunky boots. Others pair them with an embroidered waistcoat and sandals. While some women wear them with confidence to work, teamed with a fine, natural linen jacket. There are no fast and firm rules – just lots of creative options.
