GUDRUN’S GOOD DEED

Your chance to receive an artist scholarship!

Since 2006, we have been working with a project we call Gudrun’s Good Deed. In the project, we give a portion of the proceeds from selected products to organizations or projects that are close to Gudrun’s heart.

For 2021, Gudrun’s Good Deed will be going to future artists who are either applying to or studying at a school of art, design, or craftsmanship. That might mean a program in your home country, or maybe an art school in London or Paris – it could even go toward a painting course! Via Gudrun’s Good Deed, you or someone you love can apply to receive one of our artist scholarships of $ 1750 each. 

The money for the scholarship fund comes from the sale of the 4 artist’s blouses in the December collection: $ 2 from each one sold will be added to the fund.

This way, we hope to contribute to a continued passion for color, form and craftsmanship, and to help cultivate it among even more people!

How to apply for an artist grant
Please be as concise and simple in your application as possible and make sure to include the following information:
 
What program/school/class do you want to attend/are you currently attending?
Describe the program you want to attend/are currently attending. Why did you choose this particular program?

Explanation:
What do you want this to lead to and why should you be one of our artist scholarship recipients?
 
Personal data:
Enter your name, address, contact information and a brief resume with prior education and work experience.

Important dates and the application:
The application period lasts through January 31, 2022. Submit your application via email or postal mail. Recipients of one of our artist scholarships will be notified by February 22. The jury consists of Gudrun Sjödén (founder and designer) and Ann Adelsson (CEO).

All applications will be treated confidentially until an applicant is granted a scholarship. Brief information about the scholarship recipients will be published on our website.
