Flourishing cherry blossoms and lilacs in bloom – these are the loveliest days of early summer. It’s the season of my birthday and I usually take a few days off. I take the time to dig and plant in my garden, which means a trip to the plant nursery to buy flowers. Everything has to cross the lake and on the dock, a wheelbarrow awaits to take all the flowers up to my cozy greenhouse, which is built in a little valley behind the house. It’s beside a big pond, dug by my son Tobias for my 70th birthday. I treasure these wonderful springtime memories!
