A palette from India’s rainbow
We’re getting creative with the gorgeous colors of “Indras bow” – a common name for the rainbow in India. On a trip to Hyderabad, India, we see how ikat is made by skilled craftspeople. You’ll find a wide spectrum of colors among these styles, like the “Hyderabad” ikat in rich hues, the light and airy “Indra” checks, and the bold “Shiva” print. Pair with versatile solid-colored garments – like the crinkled voile pants and Gudrun’s favorite cardigan. It now has beautifully textured checks.
