91% cotton/9% wool. 70% of the cotton is certified organic and 30% is recycled. The recycled cotton is certified and composed of textile production scraps that have been spun into new fibers. The dyeing process is certified. One of the yarns is dyed with vegetable dyes in an environmentally certified dyeing process. Do not soak and avoid direct sunlight, since vegetable-dyed textiles fade more easily. Dry and store in the dark. The wool is mulesing-free. Even the finest wool may be subject to some pilling after repeated wear. Carefully remove any pilling. We suggest airing this garment or steaming with an iron. As a last option, hand wash cold or wash in the washing machine set to the wool-wash cycle. Use wool detergent. Wash separately with pH-neutral detergent without bleach. Avoid soaking.
