A collage of soft furnishings from Gudrun Sjödén’s Autumn 2026 Home collection: a kitchen with a patterned tablecloth, a loft with a wicker armchair, a pea green tablecloth in a pottery studio, a floral bedspread, a table set with linen textiles, and a lime-rendered house and a line of washing on Gotland. Two “Garden” chair pads, one pea green and one sandstone, are superimposed on the collage.

Fall’s homeware collection has moved into three very different, but equally personalized homes. Gudrun’s apartment in the city is filled with colors and patterns. The walls are color-washed, the floors are covered with rugs, and there are cushions, tablecloths and colorful textiles. There are also lots of memories from her travels. The farm on Gotland is such a peaceful place, with nature right outside the door. The house is filled with natural colors, from the walls to the floors. It’s the perfect place for our home textiles in natural linen. We find peace and quiet in the old pottery studio. Old furniture, gray-painted doors and beautifully worn floors serve as the backdrop to this part of the homeware collection, in shades of soft green and natural hues.

Five watercolour sketches by Gudrun Sjödén of blue, pink, orange and purple mats, connected by a red dotted line between two drawing pins.

From brush to rug
Fall’s rugs began as watercolors, hand-painted by Gudrun with a brush on watercolor paper. The sketches went on to Panipat, India, where they were interpreted by Mr. Whardman, who has woven rugs for us for years. These rugs are hand-woven on old-fashioned looms using yarn in colors that are already in stock, and then the patterns are embroidered on top. Because each rug has so many colors, they may vary a bit from one rug to the next. And if there’s no space on the floor, they can also be hung up on the wall.
