Holiday wreath

Hands decorating a Christmas wreath on a wire ring with greenery, berries and dried orange.

What to do – step by step:

You need:
•    Gudrun Sjödén’s white ribbon (or other ribbon)
•    Jute twine
•    A pre-made wreath base (metal, evergreen branches, lingonberry branches or straw)
•    Dried orange slices
•    Cinnamon sticks
•    Holiday ornaments
•    Rose hip sprigs, juniper branches or little twigs
•    Scissors
•    Thin steel wire or hot glue gun (optional)

1. Cut a piece of ribbon that is long enough to use as a hanger for the wreath.
2. Get out your decorations, such as dried oranges, cinnamon sticks, ornaments or little branches and flowers.
3. Attach the decorations around the wreath using jute twine. Use a hot glue gun or steel wire if extra stability is needed.
4. Make sure that everything looks nice and harmonious, and that the decorations are securely attached.
5. Tie the ribbon that you cut at the beginning to the top of the wreath.
6. Done! Hang your wreath anywhere you like (for example, on the door).

 A useful tip!
•    Vary the materials.
•    Combine oranges, cinnamon, greenery and ornaments for a vivid, nature-inspired feel.
•    Spread out the decorations around the wreath for a more organic look.
