For the Tahiti series, we were inspired by the island’s rich flora and craftsmanship traditions, such as the bark of the paper mulberry tree being used as a fiber for textiles, and the use of plants to make printing stencils. We’ve incorporated an organic sensibility through the seaweed, leaves and flowers meandering across the fabrics. The color palette has notes of bark, seaweed and earth tones inspired by various plants. As a romantic detail, blooming hibiscus sways in the breeze or dances across the waves.
