A radio show about a group of islands she had never heard of sparked Gudrun’s curiosity. A quick search revealed a lone dot in the southern Atlantic – one of the most remote places in the world. 260 people live on a volcanic island shaped more by the forces of nature than by our modern world. Gudrun was inspired and created this series infused with nature’s elemental power: comfortable pieces in earth tones, with volcanic flowers, little checks and moss. All in nature’s own materials.
