Who doesn’t want something warm and soft? Velour became popular back in the 60s. It was colorful, patterned and brand new. At that time, the colors were mainly pink, plum purple and olive green. Winter’s new velour styles are soft and warm for cooler days. With its subtle sheen and gorgeous color depth, this is a material for daily wear and special occasions.

How is velour made?It’s made on a regular circular knitting machine, which can be adjusted for different techniques. It can make single jersey, sweatshirt jersey and terry. That same machine works quickly – and usually knits with undyed yarn. Then the material is dyed and printed in every imaginable way. Winter’s velour pieces are solid-colored in deep burgundy, blue, misty green and black – garments that feel just as comfortable as they look. You’ll find three new styles: a fully buttoned dress, a straight-cut cardigan or indoor jacket, and elegant puff pants. Here, we combine simplicity, style and comfort in beautiful shades.
