This summer, we’re decorating our homes with summer flowers and ikat-woven textiles. The irregular woven fabric from Hyderabad, India harmonizes beautifully with Scandinavian simplicity, whether in a countryside cottage or a city home. The homeware collection features genuine craftsmanship with a slightly rustic feel. You’ll find textiles to use on the table or the bench in the garden, or to put up as light curtains in the summer breeze.
So welcome these graphic patterns and summery flowers into your home!

Colorful home textiles

From Hyderabad to the countryside cottage

Soft, rustic and handmade
Ikat weaving involves reserving certain sections of yarn before it is dyed. String or wax are usually used to create the desired pattern, but here, scraps from worn-out bicycle tires were used!
Ikat and flowers for your homeA visit with skilled craftspeople in a village near Hyderabad, India was the starting point for this series, with wonderful graphic patterns in woven ikat and lush printed flowers. The woven pattern design on the kitchen towel, table runner and place mat was hand-tied and then dipped in dye prior to weaving – we are so inspired by this cherished, ancient craftsmanship technique.
