Genuine craftsmanship
Over the years, Gudrun has created collections printed with traditional wood blocks and dyed with natural pigments like indigo, pomegranate and kashish. Each piece is the result of numerous complex steps, and extensive textile expertise. When you wear the dress, jacket, blouse, pants or soft cardigan from this collection – take a moment to enjoy them a little extra. Because what you are wearing is a piece of genuine craftsmanship. Every step is carried out by hand, which means the colors vary slightly from garment to garment – and that is precisely their charm!
Block-printed clothing in organic cotton

This is a rare color palette. First the garments are dipped in indigo, then they’re dipped once in pomegranate, which produces the green shade. As you can see, there are many processes, because we’re creating a collection in natural colors.

When patterns meet
Our kimono is made by hand – floral on one side and striped on the other.

The shade of red in our Natural Dyes collection comes from Indian madder. This tall cultivated plant grows in India, among other places. The scientific name is Rubia cordifolia, and the roots are also used in traditional Chinese medicine.

Craftsmanship at its best – dyed with pigments from nature
This carefully crafted series has everything you could want: a bigger flower, a smaller flower and stripes – patterns that are all printed with wood blocks using genuine natural dyes, like indigo. As a result, these garments become lighter over time, which adds patina and character. The cardigan is also dyed with natural pigments, resulting in soft and lovely hues. And take a look at the reversible kimono, where you can switch between stripes and little flowers.
