A wrap cardigan has a design that overlaps at the front and secures at the waist with ties or buttons. A wrap construction creates a lovely silhouette. The cardigan has a slightly tighter fit at the waist and is elegantly draped over the body, for a flattering look that suits all Gudrunistas. In other words, it doesn’t matter what your shape is – there is always a wrap cardigan for you.

On a warm day, pair a summer dress with an organic cotton wrap cardigan. Imagine a wonderful dress, maybe in soft jersey or cool linen, and when the sun dips behind a cloud, or at night when the temperature drops, you pull on a wrap cardigan over your dress. You can close the cardigan for that nice, characteristic fit, or leave it open for a more relaxed feel. On a cold fall or winter day, choose a wrap cardigan in warm wool. The great thing about a wrap cardigan is that it goes with anything. You can wear it over a dress or pair it with a skirt or pants. When it’s chilly out, a knit skirt in an alpaca blend or a pair of velour pants could be the perfect match with a wrap cardigan. Under your cardigan, try a turtleneck sweater in soft jersey or a blouse with tone-on-tone embroidery. A shawl, hat, socks, or fingerless gloves will add the finishing touch that makes the outfit feel like you.

Don’t be afraid to experiment with your wrap cardigan. A floral cardigan paired with a striped top or dotted tunic can be a fabulous combination. And when it comes to color, we’ll say the same: be bold! How about a multi-colored, patterned wrap cardigan with pants in a contrasting shade, or a solid-colored cardigan with a vibrant patterned dress? What matters is that you like the colors, patterns and combinations, and that you feel beautiful. Sometimes it can take a little time to find a look that feels like you, but it will come – and when it does, it’s a wonderful feeling.
